Police Beat for Sunday, February 26th, 2023

Salem Police have arrested a 29-year-old Carlyle man for felony retail theft and criminal trespass to the Walmart store.  Police say Kevin Roper of Slate Street had earlier been trespassed from the store and was allegedly caught taking merchandise on Friday.    He was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Salem Police arrested 39-year-old Bellamie Frasier of Bennett Street in Salem for forgery.  No other details were immediately available.

Centralia Police arrested 30-year-old Zachary Zeller of South Locust Street in Centralia for violation of bail bond.

Three others were arrested on outstanding warrants.

33-year-old Lacy Heitkamp of Morton Road in Kell was arrested by Wamac Police on an outstanding Marion County warrant on pending retail theft and possession of controlled substance charges.  Bond is set at $50,000.

29-year-old Krystyne Kelley of North Cherry in Centralia turned herself in on an outstanding Marion County felony warrant on a pending residential arson charge.  Bond is set at $20,000.

21-year-old Cameron Deadmond of Greenup was arrested by Sandoval Police on an outstanding Cumberland County felony warrant.   He posted $250 bond and was released.
