Bond has been set at $50,000 for a 19-year-old Patoka man charged in Marion County Court on Wednesday with aggravated battery with great bodily harm.
Noah Meredith of Bond Street is accused of stabbing his roommate in the arm with a knife and hitting him with a golf club. The alleged victim was treated and released at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
Meredith was taken into custody after calling the sheriff’s department and asking to meet with a deputy.
A public defender was appointed to represent Meredith. A preliminary hearing is set for March 14th.
