Salem Police have arrested a 43-year-old Sandoval woman for public indecency after she reportedly took off her shirt twice at the Huck’s store on West Main.

Police report the first complaint came in at 12:46 Wednesday morning that the woman had exposed herself in the video gaming area.  Upon arrival, officers reportedly found Misty Howell slumped over a video gaming machine with her shirt and bra on the floor.   Howell was told to put her shirt back on but became angry police had been involved.  She then reportedly went to the truck fueling area where she confronted a driver and took her shirt off again.

Police once again asked her to put her shirt back on and say they took her into custody for her own protection.

Howell was taken to the Marion County Jail where she was later released.  Later in the day, Howell was charged in court with a misdemeanor offense of public indecency/lewd exposure.
