A 30-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Wamac Police on an outstanding failure to appear in court warrant. Nathan Hale of North Hickory Street was taken to the Marion County Jail on the warrant issued in connection with a possession of a weapon by a felon charge. Bond is set at $10,000.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to a storage shed in the 4300 block of State Route 161 in Centralia. A table saw and torch set were taken. An attempt to steal a backhoe was unsuccessful.
The sheriff’s department is investigating the theft of ATV tires from a building on the 6000 block of Marshall Creek Road in rural Odin.
