A 74-year-old rural Kinmundy man was injured when his car ran into a barrier on Quail Run Road east of County Farm Road northeast of Salem.
Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports indicate Larry Lane of Meachum Road was taken to Salem Township Hospital by United Medical Response where an AirEvac medical helicopter was called.
The barricade was apparently in place to close off a dirt section of the road.
Lane was not trapped in the vehicle.
A witness called 911 to report the crash at 2:38 Saturday afternoon.
