A 24-year-old Farina man has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court to a charge of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
Quinton Schoreck of Raven Road had a second count of unlawful possession of ammunition by a felony dropped.
The prison term will run concurrently with felony sentences handed down in Effingham and Clay Counties.
After getting out of prison, Schoreck will have to complete one year of parole.
