Connor Tennyson scored 20, senior Conrad Mascareno hit 2 huge three’s in the second half and the Salem Wildcats closed down their regular and conference season with a 55-52 road win at Roxana. Tennyson went 9-of-10 from the free throw line for Salem as well. Seth Bailey added 12. Chris Walleck led Roxana with 17, Aidan Briggs finished with 12 and Ashton Noble 10. Salem finishes the regular season at 7-23 as they will reset on Saturday when they host the Staunton Bulldogs for their Class 2a Regional Quarterfinal starting at 6pm on WJBD.
In Cahokia play, Breese Central beat Wood River 69-35 and Columbia at home over Freeburg 58-47.
