Dodson Passes Storck For Single Season Scoring Record, Cougars Rout OPH

The South Central Cougars have a new single season scoring champ after Aidan Dodson passed Derek Storck in the Cougars 68-11 blowout over visiting Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine.  Dodson needed 17 points to tie and 18 to surpass Storck’s total from the 94-95 season, he finished with 20 in three quarters and now has 684 points this season with at least two games left.  The Cougars will travel to North Clay tonight before opening up their regional against Cisne.

Also last night, Altamont bounced back after having their 18 game win streak snapped on Saturday with a 71-55 home win over St Anthony.  Patoka/Odin lost to Webber 71-37, Christ Our Rock rolled past St Elmo/Brownstown 76-54, Woodlawn lost to Dieterich 52-29, Fairfield over Flora 54-50, Okawville nipped Carlyle on the Indians senior night 49-48.

The Centralia Orphans will travel to Althoff tonight to finish off their season.
