Bond set at $10,000 for Salem man charged with violating sex offender registration act

Bond has been set at $10,000 for a 51-year-old Salem man formally charged in Marion County Court on Thursday with violation of the sex offender registration act.

Bradley Gibson was arrested by Salem Police on Wednesday for failing to register a change of address within three days.   Police also said the residence where Gibson was living was within 500 feet of a playground.

The public defender was appointed to represent Gibson.
