One person was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment after the SUV they were in collided with a school bus at 13th and Poplar and crashed into a house near the intersection.
Initial information from the Centralia City Fire Department is there were students on the Centralia City Grade School bus, but none required hospital treatment.
A natural gas line was also reportedly damaged in the crash. Ameren crews were called out to make repairs.
Reports on how the crash occurred are not yet available from the Centralia Police Department.
The crash was reported at 3:30 Friday afternoon.
