The Christ Our Rock Silver Stallions ran at The Belleville East Lancers Inv. Monday afternoon, their last regular season XC meet at Swansea Hills Conservation Park prior to this Saturdays IHSA Regional meet at Trenton-Wesclin and it was a good one for the Stallions and Lady Stallions.
The meet was divided into heat races based upon the runners personal best times over the course of the season.
In the “Navy” race freshman Liagel Lions got his first career win finishing first in the boys race in 22:38 for the 3.0mi course.
In the “White” race division the Stallions brought home 3 medals as Soph. Christian Nollman finished 3rd (20:17) and teammate Tommy Taylor was 6th (20:34) also medaling. Senior Abagail Meyer closed her senior season with a medal finishing 10th (22:44).
Next was the “Columbia” division race and Jr. Sarah Mckowen was the race champion for the girls race finishing 1st in 19:41. Teammate Rylee Brammier also medaled finishing 10th (21:12).
For the boys in the “Columbia” race Jr. Elijah Gregory medaled finishing 8th (17:20) and teammate Zerek Koch broke the 18 minute mark finishing 16th in 17:58 and Isaiah Lyons came in 26th (18:45) for the Silver Stallions.
