The 12U(Honerkamp) Centralia Supersonics won the Mascoutah Fall Classic this weekend, going 5-1.
In pool play action on Saturday they went 2-1. They beat Metro East Blaze 15-3 and Lady Roughnecks 8-0, while losing to Black Widows 2010 16-4.
On Sunday, bracket play started with a win versus Team Mascoutah, 8-1. Morgan Honerkamp got the win in the circle, striking out 10 and tossing a 1 hitter. Quinn Wolfe, Libby Williams, and Emery Schoenberg all had multiple hits. Morgan Honerkamp, Avery Albers, Jacie Kehrer, Mylee Davis, and Gracin McDaniel also added to the offense with hits.
In the semifinals, they were a 7-5 winner vs the Pickneyville Celtics. Reagan Shuler got the win in the circle, striking out 4. Avery Albers and Libby Williams had multiple hits for the Sonics, while Jacie Kehrer, Emery Schoenberg, and Morgan Honerkamp added a hit a piece.
In the championship game, the Sonics avenged a loss from pool play by beating the Black Widows 6-2. Peyton Harris threw a gem in the circle, picking up the win. Williams and Wolfe had multiple hit games, while Albers, Kehrer, and Davis were credited with a hit a piece.
