The Salem Bobcats won their 2nd straight State Class L Cross Country title after dominating the meet on Saturday.
Salem finished with 81 points, 21 better than 2nd place Waterloo.
Salem’s Alex Spencer was the individual state champion in 10:17, Payton Gullion finished 6th, Avery Gullion 14, Scout Puricelli 24 and Jacob Cape 81st to bring home the title. It’s the 3rd straight year the Bobcats have brought home state hardware with a 2nd place finish in 2020.
Centralia’s Jaxson Hancock finished 21st overall in 11:10.
