Franklin Park honored their baseball and softball teams last night in their annual awards night.
The boys awards went to Evan Barnes who was the Batting Champ hitting .471 and had the lowest ERA of 2.58. Avery Gullion was named Pitcher of the Year after going 6-1 on the season with 2 saves. Payton Gullion was the stolen base champ swiping 23 bags, Keytin Grawe won the Gold Glove Award for his work behind the plate, Kyler King was Most Improved after starting the season with a broken thumb and missing the first 2 weeks. And calling him the greatest teammate he’s had, Coach Brian Lipe named Landon Tennyson the Bobcat Award Winner.
The Lady Bobcats and coach Ashley Bolton gave Reagan Shuler, Morgan Honerkamp and Allison Thurman the co-Pitching Award. Mya Russell and Quinn Wolfe were Co-Offensive Players of the Year, Russell also won the Defensive Award with Emma Lipe receiving the Lady Bobcat Award.
