The Salem Wildcats soccer team will open the 1a regionals today at home at 10am against Wesclin at FCC Field. The Cats enter at 9-8-and-2 on the year. The winner will advance to next week’s Freeburg Regional semifinal against top-seed Columbia.
Also today, Pinckneyville plays at Mt Carmel, Roxana hosts Wood River.
