CORLHS Shows Well At Chester Invitational

It was another good showing for the CORLHS Silver Stallions CC Team at The Chester Invitational. The Boys had 4 medalists and the Girls brought home 3 medals. In each race the runners ran together but were separated by Freshman/Soph. and Jr./Sr.(Varsity)

The Boys placed 4th overall (tying with Nashville) with 129pts. Elijah Gregory lead the way again with a strong kick into the chute to medaling and finishing 3rd overall (17:00) and 3rd in Varsity boys. Zerek Koch had one of his best races of the season to date also medaling finishing 4th in F/S (18:11) and 12th overall in the race on a very tough, hilly, 3 mile course. Yilian Lu came up big again for the Stallions medaling again in his 2nd race of the season placing 15th (19:25) in Varsity and 31st overall. Isaiah Lyons was close behind him bringing home 17th in F/S and 32nd overall. And Tommy Taylor rounded out the Stallions scoring with 55th (22:33) in F/S and 71st overall. Liagel Lyons also finished 62nd (23:55) in F/S and 82nd overall.

For The Lady Stallions there was no team score with only 4 runners but Sarah Mckowed medaled placing 5th(21:30) in Varsity girls and 8th overall. Teammate Rylee Brammier was just 9 seconds behind her placing 4th in F/S and 9th overall (21:39). Abagail Meyer was 18th (24:30) in Varsity girls/30th overall also medaling! And Alexis Livesay finished 36th (29:12) in Varsity Girls/60th overall.
