Chase Thompson drove in Ethan Watwood in the bottom of the 8th inning to lift the SC Cougars to a 1-0 win over Neoga. Anthony Buonaura got a tough no decision for the Cougars as the senior went 7 innings allowing 2 hits and struck out 17 to just 1 walk. Watwood threw the final inning for the win. At the plate, SC got a double from Thompson as he had 2 of their 3 hits with the other a single from Colton Smith. The Cougars return to action today when they travel to Odin/Patoka/Sandoval.
