Buonaura’s Walk-Off Single Leads SC Past Altamont
The SC Cougars got a 2-run hit single from Anthony Buonaura in the bottom of the 7th inning to give them an 8-7 win over visiting Altamont. The Indians took a 7-6 lead in the top of the 7th before the Buonaura heroics. Aidan Dodson doubled going 3-3 with 2 RBI, with Colton Smith also driving in 2 runs. SC got RBI from Andrew Magnus and Ethan Watwood. Chase Thompson was 3-4 with 4 runs scored and Callaway Smith had 2 hits. Dodson worked 6.2 allowing 9 hits and 6 earned runs with 11 strikeouts. Watwood got the final out for the win.

State Champs Rout Cisne In No-Hitter
North Clay scored 13 runs in the opening inning as they cruised past Cisne 20-2. On the mound, Cody Zimdars, Jack Compton and Ben Czyzewski combined on the 4-inning no-hitter. Alex Boose and Carder Walden had 4 RBI each, 3 apiece from Ayden Jones and Jesse Weidner. Also driving in runs were Logan Fleener, Cayden Craig, Ian Jones, Jacob Hoyt and Daniel Warren.
