The Marion County Sheriff’s Department investigated three theft and burglary complaints last week.
The sheriff’s department was called Thursday to a building in the 100 block of Railroad Street in Patoka where nearly 900 electronic components were stolen. Most of the items were later recovered at a recycling business. The sheriff’s department is looking for a suspect.
The sheriff’s department was called on Monday to a residence in the 1400 block of Burge Road in Centralia where the homeowner returned home and found his garage door open. An air compressor was reported missing.
The sheriff’s department also responded to a report Monday night of items stolen from the front porch and pole barn at a home in the 2700 block of Miles Lane in Salem. A table saw, air compressor, and other items were reported missing.
