Centralia High School presents 109th May Fete Thursday night

The first of two performances of 109th May Fete took place Thursday night at Centralia High School. A second performance is set for Friday night.

The event was highlighted by the crowning of Queen Kylie Gorman and King Riley Miller. They were coronated by 2020 Retiring Queen and King Quincy Morgan and Tyree Westbrook and 2021 Queen and King Jazmyne Myers and Brooks Harland.

Last year’s event had two kings and queens because May Fete could not be held in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The performance that includes representatives of each class and several Royal Children also saw the traditional winding of the May Pole.
