A 26-year-old Centralia woman has been arrested for aggravated battery to a nurse in connection with an incident on Wednesday at the Behavioral Health Department of SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.
Centralia Police arrested Nikkita Campbell of South Elm after she allegedly threw a cup of hot coffee on another patient and then punched a nurse in the back of the head who intervened.
Campbell was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on the filing of formal charges.
