The Greater Salem Area Foundation has announced the Evening of Honors will return this year.
The foundation is now seeking nominations for the annual Evening of Honors banquet to be held Thursday, March 31, 2022. The Evening of Honors recognizes the significant community contributions of individuals, organizations, and businesses in Salem. Award categories include Public Servant, Educator, Civic Achievement, Businessman, Boss of the Year, Civic Organization, Humanitarian, and Lifetime Achievement.
Nomination forms may be found on the Foundation’s Facebook page or website, www.salemilfoundation.com, or at Salem City Hall. Please submit nominations to the Greater Salem Area Foundation, PO Box 1314, Salem, IL 62881, or via email at salemilfoundation@gmail.com. Nomination deadline is Friday, March 4, 2022.
The Greater Salem Area Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide financial and material assistance to residents of the Salem Community High School district who are experiencing hardships due to fire, health conditions, unemployment, accident, or any emergency recognized by the Board of Directors.
