Centralia Police say an investigation is continuing into a Sunday night crash at Broadway and Oak that resulted in a car ending up on its top on the railroad tracks.

37-year-old Jaronda Acres of North Elm reported she was traveling southbound on Oak turning onto Broadway when she swerved to miss another vehicle that cut her off and struck a CN railroad power pole. The car then flipped over on its top on the tracks.

Police say Acres was able to get out of the car on her own and refused medical treatment.

Train traffic was shutdown for about 45 minutes until the wreckage was removed and CN could make temporary repairs to the damaged power pole. Centralia ESDA assisted with traffic control.

Centralia Police are reviewing video surveillance of the area and talking to witnesses before wrapping up the investigation.
