One person was injured Friday morning in a four-vehicle crash at Elm and Broadway in downtown Centralia.

Centralia Police say the crash occurred when an SUV driven by 33-year-old Ericka Givens of Third Street in Centralia disobeyed a traffic control device while eastbound on Broadway and struck cars on Elm driven by 45-year-old Chad Altenbaumer of Hester Street in Centralia and 41-year-old Arron Deadmond of Bond Street in Centralia.  Givens also struck a westbound SUV on Broadway driven by 76-year-old Arthur Boyle of Fayette Street in Centralia.

The impact of the crash caused Givens’ vehicle to overturn on its top.  She was assisted out of her car by Centralia City Firefighters and was transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment.

Givens was ticketed for disobeying a traffic control device.  Altenbaumer was ticketed for driving on a revoked license.

The crash occurred at 8:11 Friday morning.
