Four face new charges in Marion County Court

A 29-year-old Centralia man has been charged in Marion County Court with felony domestic battery. Kyle Obermeier of West Kell is accused of striking the victim in the head. The charge is a felony because Obermeier has a past domestic battery conviction in Richland County. Bond was set at $10,000 and the Public
Defender appointed.

Two others were charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.

Bond was set at $10,000 for 41-year-old Gilbert Sidener of West Bennett in Salem on charges of both domestic battery and interfering with reporting of domestic violence. Sidener is accused of striking a family member on January 5th. The public defender was appointed to represent him. Salem Police say the
victim received hospital treatment for injuries.

Bond was set at $1,500 for 53-year-old Joel Easley of North Broadway in Salem who was charged with domestic battery to a family member. The public defender was appointed to represent him.

A 31-year-old Salem man was charged with felony violation of an order of protection with a prior conviction. Bond for Devon Beasley of North Broadway was set at $15,000. As part of release on bond, Beasley has been ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim or her residence. The public defender was
appointed to represent Beasley.
