COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — E.J. Liddell scored a career-high 34 points and No. 13 Ohio State beat Northwestern 95-87. Liddell scored 17 points in the first five minutes, including a career-high five 3-pointers in that span. He set a personal best in field goals made, finishing 12 of 20 from the field. His production helped Ohio State shoot 67% in the first half. The Buckeyes led 51-39 at halftime and matched their scoring output from a 67-51 loss at Indiana on Thursday. The Wildcats trimmed the 12-point halftime deficit to six with 37 seconds left, but Ohio State held them off at the foul line.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Trayce Jackson-Davis had 13 points and 12 rebounds and Indiana beat Minnesota 73-60. With a Minnesota defense concentrating on Jackson-Davis, who averages just under 20 points a game, the Hoosiers responded with five players scoring in double figures including Xavier Johnson with 14 points, Rob Phinisee 13, Parker Stewart 12 and Race Thompson 10. Still, Jackson-Davis posted his sixth double-double this season and the 27th of his career. Jamison Battle scored 19 points, Payton Willis 18 and E.J. Stephens 12 for the Gophers.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Caitlin Clark scored 31 points, McKenna Warnock 23 and Monika Czinano had eight of her 20 in the pivotal fourth quarter as No. 22 Iowa beat Nebraska 95-86. Clark had 12 assists and grabbed eight rebounds in posting her sixth double-double this season, Warnock had a career high seven 3-pointers on nine attempts and grabbed 10 rebounds for her second double-double. Kate Martin added 12 points for Iowa. Sam Haiby scored 18 points, Alexis Markowski and Jaz Shelley had 14 points each and Ashley Scoggin added 13. Shelley also had 11 rebounds for her fifth double-double this season.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Chloe Bibby scored 23 points to lead a balanced offense and help No. 10 Maryland beat Minnesota 87-73. Angel Reese had 19 points and 10 rebounds for Maryland (12-4, 4-1 in the Big Ten), while Ashley Owusu chipped in 15 points, eight assists and six rebounds, and Diamond Miller had 12 points and six assists.Deja Winters led Minnesota (8-8, 1-3) with 20 points on 6-for-12 shooting from beyond the 3-point line. Sara Scalia scored 19 points, Kadi Sissoko had 15 points and Alanna Micheaux grabbed 12 rebounds.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Naz Hillmon and Leigha Brown each scored 19 points as No. 8 Michigan rolled past Rutgers 76-47 on Sunday. Maddie Nolan added 14 points for the Wolverines. Lasha Petree scored 18 points and Shug Dickson added 14 points for the Scarlet Knights, who lost their third straight. The Wolverines led by as many as 35 points in the second half. They were coming off a 79-58 loss at Nebraska on Jan. 4.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — The Purdue-Michigan men’s basketball game has been postponed because the Wolverines have fewer than seven scholarship players cleared to play due to COVID-19 protocols. The third-ranked Boilermakers were scheduled to play at Michigan on Tuesday night. The Wolverines also had to postpone their game against No. 10 Michigan State on Saturday because they didn’t have enough scholarship players available. More than 700 games have been postponed or canceled because of COVID-19 in the two months since the Division I college basketball season began.
