The Salem Lady Wildcats dropped their 2nd straight game at the Benton Holiday Tournament, falling to the JV of Carterville 52-46 in a disappointing result for head coach Megan Kessler. Salem led 29-15 at the halftime break but were outscored 37-17 in the final two quarters to take the loss. Katelyn Biegeleisen led Salem with 14, Natalie Lee and Alisia Keller had 8 each. Salem returns to action this morning at 10:30 in the 13th place semifinal.
The SC Lady Cougars are playing for the Dieterich Tournament Championship tonight at 6pm after their 45-36 win over Newton yesterday to finish Pool Play at 2-1.
