The SC Cougars won their 2nd straight game, beating Waltonville 61-29. Aidan Dodson led SC with 18, Keenin Wilshire chipped in 12 and London Hails finished with 11. The JV also won as the Cougars are back in action Friday at home against Patoka/Odin.
Also in boys action last night, Jerseyville beat Wood River 76-34.
At the Kaskaskian Classic in Carlyle last night, Pinckneyville beat Nokomis 50-32 and Hillsboro beat Carlyle 60-40.
At the DuQuoin Tip Off, Carmi beat West Frankfort 55-44, DuQuoin over Red Bud 79-44.
At Trico/Murphysboro it was Harrisburg over Chester 48-44, Murphysboro beat Lovejoy 66-34, Steeleville over Sparta 56-33 and Carterville beat Trico 57-38.
Goreville Invitational action continues tonight with Johnston City and Hardin County followed by Benton and Anna and then Goreville takes on Hamilton County.
