The Centralia Orphans opened their season at the Roxana Tournament and dismantled Bunker Hill 86-24. Grant Burch scored all 24 points for Bunker Hill in the loss. Centralia jumped out to a 32-1 lead after the opening quarter.
NJ Benson dominated for Mt Vernon dropping in 34 points, pulling down 10 rebounds and dishing out 6 assists in their 64-46 win over Christ Our Rock at the Metro East Lutheran Tournament.

Opening round games continue at Cumberland with the 3rd seed hosts taking on #6 Vandalia followed by 2nd seed Newton and #7 Dieterich.
It’s the opening night of the Waterloo Thanksgiving Tournament with Valmeyer and Freeburg followed by Waterloo and Litchfield.
In regular season play, it’s opening night for Blake Doehring and the SC Cougars as they travel to take on the Wolves of Flora.
