The prep boys basketball season opens tonight with various area tournaments. At the Wesclin/Mascoutah Tip Off the night begins with Nashville and Staunton followed by Wesclin and Mascoutah.
At Mulberry Grove Turkey Tournament, McGivney takes on Ramsey at 5:15 followed by Mount Olive and St Elmo/Brownstown and then Mulberry Grove and Lebanon.
The Elverado Turkey Tournament opens with Egyptian and Crab Orchard at 5 followed by Galatia and Elverado.
At the St Anthony Tournament, Rantoul and TTown start at 6pm followed by St Anthony and Robinson.
At the Metro East Turkey Tip Off, Lift For Life opens with Dupo at 4, then Mater Dei and Lovejoy, followed by Mt Vernon and Christ Our Rock at 7pm and then Metro East Lutheran and Marissa.
At the Cumberland Tournament, top-seed Casey opens with OPH followed by 4th seed Okaw Valley and #5 North Clay.
