The prep state cross country meet will be held tomorrow at Detweiller Park. Christ Our Rock girls will compete as a team. They consist of Rylee Brammeier, Kylie Eversgerd, Sarah McKowen, Abigail Meyer, Kylie Nalewajka and Mireya Rose. They are coached by Tim Koch. Also competing as a team will be Mater Dei, Freeburg, and Pinckneyville. And individually, Olivia Verges of Nashville and Brooklynn McAllister of Wesclin.
Area 1a boys teams competing will be Benton, Mater Dei, Freeburg, Newton, and Pinckneyville. Individually include Noah Hunt of Breese Central. Isaac Stanford of Flora, Brayden Hunter of Nashville and Wesclin’s Cole Gruenke and Gavin Hill.
The 2a boys teams competing will include Highland, and Marion as well as Carbondale’s Alex Partlow.
The 2a Girls race will feature Highland, Mascoutah, and Triad as well as Carbondale’s Anna Schurz.
