The Franklin Park Bobcats saw a 14-point first half lead evaporate and Aviston used great ball movement to come away with the 48-43 victory. Ryegan Warren led Salem with 12 points as the Bobcats fall to 2-1. The JV improved to 4-0 with their 46-25. Payton Gullion led the attack with 18 points, Avery Gullion added 10 and Caeden Miraglia finished with 10.
The Selmaville Rockets fell to Central City 58-46. Aaden “The Rooster” Rostance and Kyler Sapp finished with 13 each for the Rockets. Brayden Wood had 21 for the Citians and Archie Goewey added 20. The Citians also won the JV game 41-30. Jaxon Ward led the Rockets with 11 and Goewey had 13 for Central City.
South Central bounced back from a loss in their opener to beat Windsor/Stew Stras 34-29. Hudson Moore led the way for the Falcons with 12 and Trevan Sidwell added 10. SC also won the JV game 34-14. Garret Shumate led SC with 8 and Colt Cartright added 7.
