The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats opened up their Salem Invitational with a 35-27 win over Carlyle. Jordan Kessler led Salem with 15 and Brylee Pennypacker added 6 points and 7 rebounds. Salem is 4-3 overall on the season and will return to Tournament play tonight against Breese at 7pm.
Willow Grove/ St. Mary Centralia beat Central City 30-25. Emrie Quick led the Wildcards scoring 18, McKenna Michael added 6, Mckenzie Perez, Dana Wadkins, and Reese Koester each had 2. In JV Central city won 17-14, Reese Koester had 6 for the Wildcards, while Madelyn Seal had 4, Olivia Sipe and Remi McDonald each had 2.
