The IHSA football playoffs will open up this weekend. Salem will have to wait until tomorrow night when they travel to 10th ranked Breese Central to open up their 4a playoff run. Game time tomorrow at 6pm on WJBD.

In 4a, Freeburg hosts Olney, Civic Memorial at Quincy Notre Dame and Columbia plays at 3rd ranked Sacred Heart Griffin.
In 5a, Highland heads to Morton.
And In Class 8a, O’Fallon is in Glenview to play Glenbrook South and Edwardsville is at 7th ranked South Elgin.
