A 26-year-old Mt. Vernon woman was injured in a single-car crash on South Broadway just south of the Kell Street intersection in Salem early Saturday morning.
Salem Police say Sarah Ellis of Chestnut Lane was northbound on Broadway when she left the road, went airborne, struck a tree, with her car came to rest upside down.
Salem Fire Protection District Firemen were called to help get Ellis out of the car. She was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of injuries.
There were no passengers in the vehicle.
The crash occurred at 2:34 Saturday morning.
