The Selmaville Lady Rockets won the championship of the Central City Tournament beating New Horizon 55-39. Allie Hustedde was named MVP of the tournament with teammate Kale Benjamin named All Tournament. In the game, Hustedde finished with 20 points, Benjamin added 14 and Maci Thorsen 9. Selmaville will travel to Iuka on Monday.
Sandoval defeated Grand Prairie 22-13 in a battle for 3rd Place at the Central City Tournament on Thursday night. The Lady Hawks were led in scoring by Peyton Jett with 12. Harlie Harper tossed in 6. Jenna Howell and Avery Moorhead finished up the scoring with a bucket each. Sandoval is now 2-1 on the season and will travel to Ramsey on Monday night.
Franklin Park fell to Aviston 45-14. The JV fell 44-39. Brylee Pennypacker had 14 and Mya Russell 13. Franklin Park is back in action tonight entering at 1-2 as they travel to Effingham.
