Police Beat for Friday, October 22nd, 2021

Centralia Police have arrested a rural Odin woman for felony disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to property. Lacie Linder of Choteau Avenue was arrested for disorderly conduct after allegedly making false 911 calls and being at a home in the 300 block of East Kerr where she had earlier been banned. Police say earlier this week Linder had been given an ordinance violation ticket for making false 911 calls.

Six people were brought to the Marion County Jail on outstanding warrants.

  • 24-year-old Dustin Taylor of Hotze Road in Salem was arrested by Centralia Police for failure to appear in Marion County Court on a pending burglary case. Bond is set at $10,000.
  • 27-year-old Keila Linder of Choteau Avenue in Odin was arrested by Centralia Police on a felony failure to appear warrant in a pending aggravated battery to police officer case and an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant. Bond on the Marion County warrant is set at $15,000.
  • 23-year-old Alexis Sanders of East Rexford in Centralia was arrested by Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies and later transported to the Marion County Jail on multiple warrants. Sanders is wanted on a Marion County felony failure to appear warrant in a pending felony criminal damage to government property case with bond set at $5,000. She was also wanted on two Clinton County traffic warrants with bond set at $3,500. Another arrest warrant was issued in Champaign County Court.
  • 32-year-old Christopher Thilyaw of South Puryn Street in Salem was taken into custody by State Police on an outstanding Clinton County traffic warrant. He was later transferred to the Clinton County Jail.
  • 56-year-old James Hughes of Bethalto was returned by prisoner transport to the Marion County Jail on an outstanding DUI warrant. Bond is set at $2,500.
  • 58-year-old Robert Dunbar of East Kerr in Centralia was arrested on an outstanding Madison County warrant. He was later transferred back to Madison County by Highland Police.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a chain saw and air compressor from under a car port at a home in the 4900 block of U.S. 50 in Salem.
