It’s week 8 in high school football and a huge week in the Cahokia Conference with the a share of the league title still up for grabs. The Salem Wildcats will head to Freeburg without a chance at the title after last week’s loss to Columbia. Currently Breese Central leads Columbia and Freeburg by a game. Columbia will play Breese today as well. A Breese loss gives Columbia a share of the crown, something that Freeburg can also claim with a win over Salem as well as a Breese loss.
