he Centralia City Council will be asked at its meeting Monday night to review its Line of Credit with Midland State’s Bank.
The city has had the $500,000 line of credit since 2012 in case of an emergency situation, but it has a zero balance. The line of credit carries an interest rate of one-percent under the index, but it can never drop lower than 3.25-percent.
The council will also be asked to approve a resolution with Gonzalez Companies LLC to perform preliminary engineering and engineering inspection services for the 2022 motor fuel tax state maintenance program.
Mayor Bryan Kuder is scheduled to proclaim “Women in Business Week” for October 17th to 23rd and another resolution for “Equal Pay Day”.
The meeting is being held at Kaskaskia College’s Harry Crisp Center. The council will receive a tour of the facility and learn more about the vocational programs at the center as part of National Industrial Month.
The meeting will also be available via Zoom.
