The Salem Wildcats opened up IHSA Regional soccer on Saturday hosting Pinckneyville. Salem came away with an 8-1 victory to improve to 11-9 on the season and set up a rematch with defending state champion Columbia tomorrow at Columbia starting at 5pm.
