Police beat for Monday, October 11th, 2021

State Police have arrested two Carbondale residents for possession or sale of a stolen vehicle. 29-year-old Lindell Neal and 31-year-old Amanda Banks were both taken to the Marion County Jail where they remain pending a decision on formal charges. Neal was also arrested for unlawful use of cannabis by a driver.

Centralia Police arrested 22-year-old Samantha Schulte of Patterson Street in Central City for alleged domestic battery and resisting arrest. She was arrested when police were called to the area of the Circle K Store on West McCord Street.

Three others were brought to the Marion County Jail on Sunday on outstanding failure to appear warrants. 26-year-old Trevor Langford of Norton Road in Odin is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond for failure to appear on a Marion County warrant on a pending burglary case. 29-year-old Zachary Moore of Green Street Road in Centralia was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on a failure to appear misdemeanor warrant on pending criminal damage and criminal trespass to property charges. He’s being held in lieu of $3,500 bond. 50-year-old Misty Horton of Centralia is being held on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant with bond set at $2,500.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary to a residence on the 600 block of Route 37 in Kinmundy. A dog and clothing were reported stolen.
