Salem Police arrest two for possession of 15-100 grams of meth

The Salem Police department arrested two occupants of a car reported to be driving recklessly for possession of between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine.

The driver, 45-year-old Michael Allison of Medlin Road in Centralia, was arrested for possession of meth, unlawful use of a weapon, speeding, and a registration violation.   The passenger, 58-year-old Terry Atteberry of South Locust in Centralia, was arrested for possession of meth.

Salem Police say they had received reports of a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and passing recklessly from Iuka into Salem before the stop was made in the 400 block of East Main.

Both were taken to the Marion County Jail.
