Caden Bee put his team on his back offensively, and Salem shook off 2 early turnovers to come back to beat visiting Roxana 32-19.  Bee caught 5 balls for 118 yards including a 29 yard touchdown.  He also rushed 3 times for 2 touchdowns of 1 and 19 yards.  Sam Greene started the game 1 for his first 7 with 2 interceptions, but after that he was very good going 9-of-11 for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns the rest of the way.  Connor Tennyson caught 2 passes including an 11 yard touchdown reception.  The Cats led 18-7 at the half, and Roxana fumbled the ensuing kickoff to start the 2nd half and Salem capitalized with a score.  With Roxana mounting a comeback late, they tried an onside kick with 8:45 left in the game trailing 25-13 and Brayden Aaron scooped it up and took it 57 yards to the house for his 2nd touchdown of the season.  Salem improves to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the Cahokia with a road contest against Breese Central next week.

Breese Central only led Wood River 15-6 at halftime, but blew it open in the 2nd half winning 40-6.  Freeburg won their showdown rivalry game with Columbia 21-14.
