The Selmaville School Board finished the last fiscal year with a perfect 4.0 score on the State Board of Education Financial Recognition last.
Superintendent Robin Brooks says the yearly audit showed the school finished the last fiscal year on June 30th with $258,000 in surplus across all funds.
The board also approved the budget for the current school year that shows all funds once again ending the year in the black.
Brooks also gave an update on COVID-19. He reported there are currently 25 students out as a result of COVID or quarantine, with 15 of the close contacts being at home. There have been seven students and no staff testing positive since the start of the school year.
