The Salem Lady Wildcats traveled to Roland Barkau Memorial Golf Course in Okawville on Monday the 20th to compete in the Cahokia Conference Championship. Although the Lady Cats were last year’s champions, they missed repeating that performance by 1 stroke. The Columbia Eagles claimed the title this year with a team score of 351. The Salem Team score was 352.
Although missing out on the team championship, two of the Salem Lady Cats made the All Conference team; Alyssa Paul and Kenzie Anderson.
Alyssa Paul was low medalist and claimed the overall individual 1st place Conference title with a score of 78. Kenzie Anderson tied for 3rd place with an 84.
The other Salem golfers were Makenzie Mann posting a 94, Taylor Ice posting a 96, Maya Susmena posting a 99, and Jaryn Haarmann posting a 120.
