A vacant house and outbuilding in Sandoval were heavily damaged by fire late Sunday night.
Sandoval Fire Chief Chad Parsons says the house owned by Patricia Lee at 101 North Orange Street was heavily involved with fire upon their arrival. Since there were no utilities, the State Fire Marshal was called to investigate. Odin Firemen provided with mutual aid assistance.
Parson says the deteriorated condition of the vacant structure and heavy fire involvement made it difficult to access hidden fire to extinguish. Since there were no utilities, the State Fire Marshal was called to investigate.
The fire call came in at 10:01 Sunday night, with firemen remaining on the scene for three and a half hours.
