The SC Cougars swept their double header at home Saturday beating Cobden 13-0. Anthony Buonaura homered and drove in 6 runs and also earned the win on the mound allowing 2 hits and no runs with 5 strikeouts in 3 innings. Beau Jolliff drove in 3 runs while SC got RBI from Brody Markley, Aiden Dodson and Chase Thompson as well.
SC also beat Wayne City 15-0. Beau Jolliff and Brandt Hiestand combined in the one-hitter. At the plate, Jolliff and Andrew Magnus drove in 3 runs, Spencer Johannes and Thompson added 2. Also with RBI for SC were Dodson, Buonaura, Ethan Watwood and Ethan Dunn.
