The Salem cross country team was at the Olney Invitational Saturday. The boys team was led by freshman Caden Beer placing 35th, Ricardo Salgado 37th, Branson Pappas 40th, Alek Bandy 49th and rounding out the top 5 was Titus Churchill placing 59th. The boys as a team placed 8th out of 15 teams. There were 146 runners in the boys race.
In the girls race there was 104 runners. Freshman Breanna Thurman placed 21st, Ivy Donoho 33rd and Jaedyn Goostree was 49th making all three medalists. The Wildcats will race at the Freeburg Invite this coming Saturday, this meet is ran at Smithton.
