Two people were arrested for disorderly conduct following a verbal altercation in the pit area during the Iuka Demolition Derby late Saturday afternoon.
28-year-old Cheyenne Atkinson of East 2nd in Flora and 38-year-old Daniel Hopper of Mt. Carmel were both given notices to appear in court.
The incident was reported to Iuka Police and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department at five Saturday evening. No details were available on what led up to the altercation.
