The Salem Wildcats JV golf team was 4th at the St Anthony JV Tournament held at Fore Way Golf Course in Effingham. St Anthony finished first overall with a 162, followed by Mattoon with a 170, Charleston 173 and Salem with a 175. Brogan Gregg led the way for Salem shooting a 38, followed by Logan Lockhart 44, Ryan Detering 46 and Steven Mulvaney 47. Gregg’s 38 was 2nd overall in the tournament.
Christ Our Rock’s varsity traveled to the Nashville Municipal Golf Course for a tri-match with the host Hornets and Greenville. Nashville came out on top shooting 173 behind a hole-in-one shot by Parker Renken on the fifth hole as he shot a 42. The Stallions 191 was followed by Greenville’s 216. Stallions Parker Boehne was medalist shooting 39, Matthew Slover 42, Ajay Quick 51 and John Rincker 59. Dustin Rehkemper led Greenville with a 50.
